Collect critical survey data from a cleanup dive to be used by marine researchers around the world for conservation efforts. The course consists of a theory session about the impact of marine debris on the coral reef ecosystem, one cleanup dive in front of Swahili Beach resort and an analysis of what has been found. The outcomes will be entered into the largest global underwater database in the world. See Padi AWARE’s Marine Debris page for more information. After successfully participating in this course you'll receive the Padi Aware Dive Against Debris specialty certification.
