New Coral Reef Restoration Divers

September 30, 2022

In August and September we have trained another six Padi Coral Reef Restoration divers. Congratulations to Pierre (FR), Alexandra (USA), Cathrine, Nancy (KE), Vera and Pien (NL) with your certificates! Pien will stay for a few months to help out with our reef restoration activities and Cathrine has been hired to be a Reef Ranger at our team. Karibuni!

In July we have trained six new Padi Coral Reef Restoration divers and one Padi Coral Reef Conservation diver. Congratulations to Félix (FR), Selina, Luuk, Léon, Bart (NL), Joshua (KE) and Samantha (SA) with your certificates! Bart will be staying for long term helping out managing our project and supervising the underwater restoration activities. Karibu!

In May we have trained two more coral reef restoration divers at Swahili Beach resort. Congratulations to Beth (UK) and Scott (KE) for getting their new PADI certificates! Beth has already announced she would like to volunteer with us for a while and help out saving some corals. Karibu!

In March we have trained a few more enthusiastic scuba divers who visited us in Diani Beach. Congratulations to Lena Schwartengraeber, Sebastian Oexler (DE) and Shelby Weisburg (USA) who successfully completed the Coral Reef Restoration Diver course. They are now qualified to conduct basic coral reef restoration activities and very much welcome again to volunteer with us!
