New REEF Ranger training program

We are looking for 4 marine biology graduates with a special interest in corals to enroll in our new REEF Ranger training program. This fully sponsored program covers swimming and snorkeling lessons, a PADI Open Water Diver certification and a Coral Reef Restoration Diver specialty. The training takes place at a beautiful 5-star resort in Diani Beach. Starting date is June 1st 2022 with a minimum stay of 3 months. Trainees will also be participating in activities related to the project, like building coral nursery structures and artificial reefs, assisting with workshops, helping out with scientific data analysis and doing selfstudy on coral, benthic and fish species.

Pre-requisites

  • BSc/MSc in Marine Biology/Environmental Science

  • Kenyan citizenship

  • South-coast based


Ideal candidate

  • Motivated learner with no fear of water

  • Social, pro-active and passionate about marine conservation

  • Good spoken & written English
