Reef Ranger trainees going down under
Congratulations to our new PADI Open Water Divers, Cathrine, Nancy, Evans, Collins and Lireway! These local trainees are doing our reef ranger traineeship and learnt how to swim, snorkel and dive. The traineeship has been running for 10 weeks and has been made possible by the Huygens Lyceum in the Netherlands. Next up is the official PADI Coral Reef Restoration Diver training in which they get the knowledge and diving skills to grow and outplant corals to the reef. We aim to hire the very best Reef Rangers to help out with our pilot project in Diani Beach while supporting them in their livelihoods and further career opportunities. We wish them luck!
